A safety recall has been issued by Toyota/Lexus, for certain vehicles in their truck/SUV line. The recall pertains to 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra, 2022-2024 Lexus LX, and 2024 Lexus GX vehicles in North America.
The reason for the recall is a possibility of certain machining debris which may not have been cleared from the engine during its production. Toyota claims affected models may suffer from potential engine knocking, rough running, no starting, and/or a loss of motive power… which, at higher speeds of travel can increase crash risks.
The automaker is currently working toward a fix, and owners will be notified independently by early January 2026.
