100 Years of Getting Your Kicks ...and 30 Years of Joy Automotive!

We’re hosting an event to commemorate 100 years of Route 66, as well as celebrating Joy Automotive Service & Repair’s 30 years of serving Santa Monica and the surrounding communities!

The shop will be closed for business on Saturday, November 7, 2026 for this event. Normal operations will resume on Monday, November 9. There will be a few vehicles on display, worthy of showcasing Route 66 car culture.

Established (named) on April 30, 1926.
Commissioned on November 11, 1926.
Spans 2, 448 miles through eight states between Santa Monica, California and Chicago, Illinois.
